What the committee does
Our purpose
Firefighters need reliable training, modern equipment, adequate staffing, and meaningful physical and mental health support. Association for Firefighters PAC supports public policies and independently supports candidates who make those priorities a serious part of their work.
Health and support services
Support federal policy that improves firefighters’ access to occupational health care, mental health resources, cancer prevention, and long term disability and survivor benefits.
Public information
Inform voters about legislation, elections, and policy issues that affect firefighters and public safety.
Independent political advocacy
Independently support or oppose federal candidates based on their positions and records on firefighter related issues. The PAC does not coordinate its communications with candidates or candidate committees.
